⭐️RESERVATIONS ALWAYS RECOMMENDED
We just wanted to put out there a little message to all to explain why booking a table with us is always preferred and also so very helpful. ☺️ Of course absolutely we will always try to accommodate walk ins, but please understand there may be a wait on food if we are busy. Just because there is a free table, doesn't mean there is free oven space if many others have ordered before you. And 'fully booked' doesn't always mean that every seat in the restaurant is taken. The kitchen may be at capacity for that hour for example. We will ALWAYS prioritise those who have booked a table as this is only fair.
We pride ourselves on being a fresh food venue, so our Chefs will be busy preparing dishes from scratch. Bookings are also very helpful for staffing and stock control. In hospitality staffing is a guessing game because you never really know how many people will arrive and for ordering you need a crystal ball🔮.
We do not freeze stock or part cook things, we serve FRESH TO ORDER FOOD.
We will always be honest with you about wait times if you walk in. We will not lie to you and then upset you because we care. And we will not drop our standards to serve you in a hurry. ☺️
At lunchtime today we had 55 booked covers in a small time frame, one or two who walked in seemed a little put out that they would experience a small wait time. We just wanted to explain the reasons for this and we thank you for your understanding and patience.
Most are of course very understanding and happy to wait as they understand that quality fresh food takes longer to prepare, but is worth the wait. We really are not a fast food venue and nor would we ever like to be.
