Once again, the incredible is bringing another phenomenal band to The Pig for another fantastic night of live music! 🎶

Rail Replacement Bus Service is a new songwriting collective founded by Tom Hammond following the split of his former band, Heir. Looking for a new vessel for his creativity, Tom teamed up with Lily Sturt-Bolshaw of Sunflower Thieves and George Harris, formerly of Askies, to create something truly special — music that fuses Alternative, Folk and Indie influences.

We’re incredibly grateful to have them coming to perform at The Portly Pig on Thursday 24th September.

🍷 POLLY IS BACK… AND WE HAVE A VERY SERIOUS JOB TO DO. 🍷

The incredible Polly is back, the wine will be flowing and, once again, we need your expertise.

You helped us create our wine menu last time and, quite frankly, Evie and I loved it almost as much as you did! So naturally, we thought… why not put you through it all again? 😂

There will be a delicious sharing board on the table to enhance those delicate wine flavours… although we suspect it may also be required to soak up the evidence and steady a few nerves. 🧀🍷

It’s a tough job. Someone has to do it.
And apparently, it’s you. 😉

So… are you up for the challenge?

🍂🤎 A little autumn update from us… 🤎🍂

As the evenings start to draw in and we welcome the cosy days of autumn, our opening hours will be changing slightly.

We also wanted to let you know that we’ll be taking a little break and will be closed on Wednesday 30th September and Thursday 1st October.

A huge thank you to each and every one of you for your continued support. Whether you pop in regularly, visit us now and again, or simply recommend us to friends and family — it truly means the world to us. 🥰
