The new season of The Ripon Movie Quiz starts this Friday.
For the new season, we have made some tweaks to the format, and here's our first new fun addition. From the poster, can you name the two movies that make up the Mash-Up title? Our Mash-Up has a word in common with both films (e.g. Chicken Little Rascals is a Mash-Up of Chicken Little and Little Rascals).
If you work it out you can comment if you like, or you might prefer to keep it to yourself because it may be a useful advantage when it comes to the Ripon Movie Quiz on Friday the 8th June 2026, at the Claro Lounge, starting at 8pm.
The quiz is now 5 rounds (we've dropped the featured movie round) and we've decided to rotate round three to make it different each fortnight - this time, it's Music from the Movies.
And the IMDb Challenge as a seperate game for individual players at the end of the evening.
So, hope to see you on Friday for our new season.

This Friday it's the Ripon Movie Quiz again.
The featured movie is Flash Gordon (Sam Jones, not Buster Crabbe)
And 5 rounds of movie trivia on a big screen.
This will be week 12 of our 12 week cycle, so one team will walk away with the prize for Highest Score This Season.
So, come along on Friday for prizes (and cash to be won in the IMDb Challenge), and a great time.
8pm start. Claro Lounge. £2.50 per head.

QUIZVIDS Episode 002 Just the Quiz

This Friday, 17th April, Quizvids is back for Episode 2. This time, with a 'Whodunnit' theme!
Our launch on April 3rd was a field-testing success. The premise worked, people followed the automated format, and we got lots of feedback which we have implemented into Episode 2.
So, why not come and join us, this Friday?
Once again, the purpose is feedback, for formatting, frameworking, fine-tuning and free entery for everybody!
