For many coeliacs, this was the first British beer they’d had in years.
When we first brewed GFA back in 2005, gluten free beer was still something coeliacs simply went without. And that meant missing out.
GFA was brewed to change that.
It became the first British brewed gluten free beer, but at the time it didn’t feel like making history - it just felt like doing the right thing.
What mattered was this: people could drink a beer again without hesitation. A normal moment, made possible.
Over the years, GFA quietly built a following. A beer people trusted, enjoyed, and came back to - which is why it’s still one of our bestsellers today.
It’s also been recognised along the way, including being named Europe’s Best Gluten Free Beer at the World Beer Awards.
This May is Coeliac Awareness Month. Whether you’ve been coeliac for some time, are newly diagnosed, feel like you can’t ever drink beer again, or are looking for a new gluten free beer to add to your collection – you’re in the right place 💛
How long have you been drinking GFA - or is this your first time hearing about it? 💬
