Originally three flint cottages dating back to the 1700′s, The Cherry Tree has been a pub for over 200 years and is the only Pub in Stoke Row. Now, with a beautifully designed interior that is

as much a local pub, as it is a destination for great food, it is renowned for its location and is a true destination both locally and for guests much further afield. Having completed its extensive refurbishment in early 2012, the pub has undergone a transformation that is unique to the area. With four barn conversion en-suite king size letting rooms, it embodies everything a great country pub with rooms should be. Drive, walk, cycle or ride through the most beautiful woodland in the south of England and the jewel is the Cherry Tree Inn. The country folk love it as much as the London set. Emphasis is very much on great food, locally sourced, freshly cooked and with innovative style. This isn’t ordinary pub grub, this is excellent food with provenance. Go see it for yourself, there is nowhere else like it.

A delicious steak, smooth glass of red and the beams of our 18th century pub overhead.

Wednesdays are quickly becoming our favourite evening at the Cherry Tree, we’re looking forward to welcoming you.

We have Bavette, Sirloin and Côte du Boeuf, all sourced from , all dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days.

Served with triple cooked chips or skinny fries. Peppercorn sauce, roasted cherry tomatoes, rocket salad and a glass of house red.

Perfect for friends, lovers or paired with a damn good book from our library room.

Sunday 24th May promises to be glorious, something else which promises to be great - our Cherry Tree Roasts. They have become well known in South Oxfordshire.

This week we’re delighted to be serving a crisp and fresh Caesar Salad and our awesome Beef and Bone Marrow Burgers too.

You may have seen we’re bringing our kitchen garden back to life AND THEN SOME…..

With the amazing guidance, volunteer gathering, vision and woman power of Chelsea Flower Show gardener and judge we have exciting plans afoot.

HUGE THANKS to some strong and determined volunteers on our first BIG PULL of weeds. It was a great success as we made a start at clearing the beds ready for the next step.

If you’d love to come along for some good old hands in the dirt, a bit of exercise, a mental health boost and a sense of community you’re absolutely welcome tomorrow 10-2pm

Following this we’ll be meeting Wednesdays at 10am with the mission of building something seriously special for the community.
