We are a local pub with local interests in good quality fresh food, excellent service and friendly faces. Our menu is printed every day so there is always something changing. We have a playground in our garden complete with a refurbished Massy-Ferguson tractor for the children (and adults) to play on. Behind the bar we stock an ever changing selection of cask ales from Berkshire and the surrounding counties along side a unique wine list and an extensive selection of whiskies from all over the world.

This International Chefs Day, we celebrate the faces behind the pans, ovens, chopping boards, and kitchen sinks. Today we celebrate the hands and hearts that create our beautiful menu.

We certainly wouldn't be able to cope without the incredible kitchen team that we have.

Monthly Dog Walk – Saturday 24th October 🐾

Friendly reminder that our next Charity Dog Walk is next Saturday. We’ll be meeting at the pub at 10am, where you can enjoy a complimentary bacon sandwich and a tea or coffee before we head out together.

From there, we’ll set off on a relaxed 3-mile walk around Mapledurham, perfect for dogs and their humans to stretch their legs, socialise, and enjoy the countryside.

The weather may be turning so make sure you stay warm and dry, and maybe get the wellies out if it rains.

The walk is completely free, but we kindly ask that you book your place in advance. We’ll also be collecting donations on the day, so please bring some cash to help support our nominated charity, Berkshire Search & Rescue Dogs.

Book your spot and come along for a great morning out. If you'd like to stay for some lunch afterwards too, make sure you get your booking in for a dog friendly table.
