The Griffin is a historic Chef & Brewer waterside pub in the heart of Caversham on the northern outskirts of Reading. There’s been a tavern here since the 1800s, with the current building constructed on the north bank of the River Thames in 1916. Ideal after a walk along the Thames Path, we serve tasty pub food throughout the day. Enjoy local cask ales in our beer garden, along with free WiFi, disabled facilities and coach parking. With a function room available, our family-friendly pub is also happy to welcome dogs. Book your table at the Griffin now.
