Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery is bringing together two defining voices in modern Gulf Coast cuisine for the debut of its upcoming collaborative chef dinner series, May Our Paths Cross! 🙌 On Thursday, June 18, Southerleigh Executive Bib Michelin Chef Aaron Juvera will welcome Chef Lucas McKinney of Houston’s MICHELIN-recognized Josephine’s Gulf Coast for an exclusive one-night-only culinary collaboration celebrating the flavors, ingredients, and cultural traditions of the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast.
Guests can choose between two distinct experiences:
🔷A 30-seat ticketed prix-fixe dinner offers a six-course menu collaboratively developed by Chefs Juvera and McKinney — highlighting seasonal Gulf ingredients through the lens of each chef’s distinct culinary perspective.
🔷In addition, select dishes will be available à la carte throughout the evening for walk-in diners.
Tasting Menu highlights include:
▪️Wagyu Roll with Savory Peanut Sauce
▪️Beer Wort Glazed Rolls with Chicken Skin Cultured Butter
▪️Crab Cake Stuffed Ribeye, served with Maque Choux, Sauce Vierge
A La Carte menu highlights include:
▪️Fried oysters served with Kimchi and corn cheong salad
▪️Jambalaya Arancini, served with Herb Garnish and Fra Diavolo
▪️Vietnamese Fish and Chips, Bahn Xeo Battered, served with Rice Noodles, Herb Salad, Nuoc ▪️Cham, Dill and Turmeric Aioli
▪️Dayboat Snapper, served with Dougets Dirty Rice and Soft Shell Garum
Reservations: Seating for the prix-fixe dinner is limited to 30 guests and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not confirmed until guests receive an email confirmation.
