Our Story

Some BLCF History:


  • The Big-Little Comedy Fest was created in 2010 and featured performances from 17 improv, sketch, & stand-up acts and offered 4 workshops in Grand Rapids, MI from some of the Chicago's best teachers.

  • The Big-Little Comedy Fest 2013 made the big move to Cleveland, OH, and had its best year yet, featuring video sketch, short films, and pilots from around the world, in addition to improv, sketch, & stand-up.

  • The Big-Little Comedy Fest 2018 moves again, this time, to our new home at Bexar Stage in San Antonio, TX. With a new permanent space, BLCF can be free to grow, as necessary, to suit the needs of the San Antonio comedy community.
