Abigaël Ama is a singer-songwriter based in Amsterdam. With a background in choral music and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Performance from Berklee College of Music, she has developed a distinctive sound at the intersection of alternative indie-pop and indie-folk, enriched with subtle South American musical influences.
Performing with her band El Encuentro, Abigaël creates intimate yet groovy live shows in Spanish and English, shaped by layered organic instrumentation and poetic songwriting. Her debut album Vueltas explores themes of transformation, guilt, trust, and love—unfolding as a cyclical emotional narrative that moves between vulnerability and strength.

Bettina Bánki
Through years of immersing herself in jazz and folk music, Bettina’s musical identity has slowly grown into a meeting point of these two worlds. In her music, the freedom of jazz meets the ancient roots of folk traditions, blending into a sound that reflects her own path.
Her deepest inspiration comes from her homeland, Hungary, and from thecultural currents that have shaped the region over centuries. The melodies of these traditions carry stories of the past echoes of different ethnicities, landscapes, and histories. Within them lives adeep emotional heritage that she feels connected to in many layers of her own
life.
Her music consists not only folk music in a jazz context, but also some jazz standards that make an inventive and new blend of sound in the context of jazz and world music.
