Behind the scenes….Social Media Workshop 2026! 📸

Our socials are not done by an outside agency but by one of the team that serve you every day. We pulled them together to share ideas, learn off each other as well as get a professional helping hand from Ian y who came along to share his expertise.

We’re big believers in giving our teams opportunities to learn, develop and grow their skills, especially in areas they’re passionate about.

What a summer it has been at Stange... ☀️

We kicked off the summer with our annual charity walk, raising a phenomenal £14,000 for Arrowe Park Maternity Ward. We opened the Pavilion at the Ring O’ Bells, celebrated the summer with a Greek party at the Snowdon, The Loaf won gold at this year’s Llandudno in Bloom, we enjoyed an ’80s-style open-air cinema at the Queen’s Head, amazing live music at The Fox, extra blue skies over the Glengower this year, fabulous food, excellent tipples and sooo much more...

What a fantastic group of people we have. It’s been a summer to remember, and a hot one at that! It’s not always easy keeping the energy up during a busy shift, but our teams all smashed it.

Now we’re heading into autumn, we’ve got Oktoberfests galore, wh**ky nights and we’re starting to get geared up for, dare we say it... the festive season 🎄

We can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got planned for the rest of 2026. 🍻

On Wednesday, the amazing bereavement midwife team from Arrowe Park's Butterfly Suite came down to The Ship to receive the incredible £14,336 we were able to raise from this year's charity walk.

Back in June, the team took on a marathon hike along the Offa's D**e Path and, with the help of so many phenomenal people, we managed to raise a whopping £14,336!

The Butterfly Suite at Arrowe Park Hospital is a space dedicated to supporting parents after the heartbreaking loss of a baby. A truly worthwhile cause that is incredibly close to our hearts. A special thank you to the amazing women in this picture, and to everyone who works tirelessly at the Butterfly Suite to support families when they need it most.

This is the largest amount we've ever raised through our annual charity walk, and the outpouring of support has been absolutely amazing. Thank you to every single person who walked, donated, shared, or cheered us on along the way.

Here's to next year's challenge and continuing to support such incredible causes💙

Yesterday we celebrated our annual long service lunch, recognising this amazing group of people, who have dedicated almost 200 years of combined service to Stange!

Their hard work and commitment play a huge part in everything we achieve, and we are incredibly lucky to have them as part of the team.

For the second year running, we visited , where the food and service were once again outstanding.

A huge thank you to everyone we celebrated yesterday and here’s to many more years together at Stange🥂

It's just one week to go until this years charity walk!

This amazing lot will be taking on the epic challenge of walking 26.6 miles along the Offas D**e path from Llangollen to Denbigh all in aid of 'The Butterfly Suite' at Arrowe park hospital.

'The Butterfly Suite' is part of the maternity ward, it provides a quiet space for families dealing with the heartbreaking loss of a baby.

This challenge is no easy feat so the team need as much support as possible to help them get to the end, any donations would be greatly appreciated.

It’s been a busy few weeks at Stange!

Last week, we opened the doors to our 10th pub, Brookhouse Mill in Denbigh. The team worked incredibly hard to get everything looking perfect ready for opening, and the response we’ve had so far has been phenomenal, so thank you! We can’t wait to see the incredible things Jill and the team will do at Brookhouse.

There’s also been plenty of fundraising action and some fabulous raffle hampers across our pubs as we get closer to our 2026 charity walk on 2nd June. Click the link in our bio to donate to this year’s incredible cause❤️

Finally, the sun has made an appearance and our pub gardens are the perfect place to soak it up with a pint this weekend. Just take a look at that sun deck at The Ship… hard to beat!

It’s been a busy week for us. We’ve been working away at Brookhouse Mill, the newest member of the Stange family, getting everything ready for its opening next month.

New spring menu dishes have been going down a treat across our pubs (that pan roasted chicken supreme at the Ring o’ Bells is a must try), and there’s plenty of fresh summer tipples, enjoy a Lemon Dream at The Fox, sip on new cocktail specials out on the patio at The Jug & Bottle, or treat yourself to a bottle of Crémant at The Queen’s Head.

This year’s Stange & Co office charity walk team!

On our 7th year taking on an epic challenge for charity, Dan, Zoe, Claire, Issy and Georgia will be taking on the Offas D**e path, 26.2 miles from Llangollen to Denbigh to support 'the Butterfly suite' at Arrowe Park Hospital’s maternity ward.

The Butterfly Suite is a truly worthwhile cause which is incredibly close to our hearts so we hope you will help us to raise as much money as possible…

There’s lots going on this Easter bank holiday at our pubs...
