As some of you may have noticed on our menus and posters around the pub, The Cheshire Yeoman is a community pub and a not-for-profit company.

We wanted to take a moment to explain exactly what that means. 😊

The Cheshire Yeoman is a pub for the community, by the community. We are registered with Companies House as a not-for-profit company, which means our purpose isn’t to generate profit for shareholders or owners.

Instead, any money we make is put straight back into the pub and the community. 🍻

That could mean improving the pub, creating a nicer and more enjoyable environment, introducing new events and activities, improving our facilities, or simply finding more ways to bring people together.

We want The Cheshire Yeoman to be somewhere that everyone feels welcome, has a good time and is proud to call their local. ❤️

So when you visit us, have a meal, enjoy a drink or come along to one of our events, you’re not just supporting a pub — you’re helping us invest back into the place we all share.

We’d also love to hear from you! What would you like to see here at The Cheshire Yeoman? Would you like us to hold a particular themed night, be a start and finish point for a running club, or organise post-match drinks and gatherings for local sports teams? Maybe there’s another event, activity or group you’d like us to support.
