Sympathetically improved in recent years, The Ship's a timeless pub that oozes character and charm, along with a warm and welcoming crew to make you feel right at home. Thanks to its beautiful location, the pub enjoys stunning views across the Dee marshes over to the hills of North Wales. The menu is an interesting mix of pub classics with some more interesting seasonal dishes including the not-so-ordinary too taking inspiration from around the world.

We know our fish & chips are popular, but just how popular are they? 🐟🍟

Every quarter we choose a charity dish, and this time, our fish & chips (both large and small) were chosen! That means 50p from every dish sold will be donated to charity.

Last quarter, we raised an incredible £1,137 for Tommy's and we’re delighted to be continuing our support for this wonderful charity this quarter too.

So why not tuck into a delicious fish & chips while knowing that every dish you enjoy is also helping to support a wonderful cause?

The parade from the Boathouse is closed from today July 29th and will most likely be closed up until the weekend

We are open as usual when coming down to visit please use Parkgate Road from Neston (Old Quay side of the parade).

The temporary traffic lights are still up by Mostyn House so traffic may be quite busy during peak times.

Today we'd like to share a few words from our General Manager Mike on the support shown through this year’s charity walk :

"We’re incredibly grateful to be able to say that together we’ve raised an amazing £14,336 for Arrowe Park’s Butterfly Suite following this year’s charity walk.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared, supported or took part. Your kindness and generosity have meant so much to my wife and me.

The opportunity to give back to the Butterfly Suite has meant so much to us following the loss of our beautiful daughter, Hallie.

We’re thankful that this donation will go on to help other families who sadly find themselves needing the same support."
