Sympathetically improved in recent years, The Ship's a timeless pub that oozes character and charm, along with a warm and welcoming crew to make you feel right at home. Thanks to its beautiful location, the pub enjoys stunning views across the Dee marshes over to the hills of North Wales. The menu is an interesting mix of pub classics with some more interesting seasonal dishes including the not-so-ordinary too taking inspiration from around the world.

It seems that Parkgate road by the Old Quay is closed again this morning, please use Boathouse Lane to access the Parkgate front - we are open as usual from 11am for hot drinks and open fully from 12pm for food and drinks ☺️

And just like that.... the Hütte is back!

This year, we’ve opened it up to bring you even more of that traditional German Christmas market feel! Think Bavarian b**rs, boozy hot chocolates, tasty food and cosy vibes.

🥨 Food & drinks served all day, every day! No booking, no fuss. Simply pop into the bar to place your order, grab a seat and settle in.

🐾 Four-legged friends welcome too! Well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you in the Hütte, just like our indoor bar area. Ask at the bar for dog bowls of water and our dog menu to keep your furry friends happy.
