As the harvest ends and the fires are lit, gather at The Bear.

This Halloween weekend, we’re marking the end of Summer with three days of seasonal cooking, candlelight and generous dishes made for sharing.

Friday 30 October — Samhain Harvest Supper
Saturday 31 October — Halloween, with our children’s candy cauldron
Sunday 1 November — All Saints Harvest Sunday

Expect games, fire-roasted fish and our Samhain feast for two, alongside the warmth and atmosphere of the season.

Bring the little ones for a visit to the candy cauldron. Stay for supper, settle in by the fire, and make an evening of it.

A weekend for gathering, feasting and welcoming in the darker half of the year.

Christmas Day at The Bear.

A glass of English sparkling on arrival, three courses of proper Christmas fare, and time around the table with the people who matter.

From seasonal favourites to something a little different, our Christmas menu brings together thoughtful cooking, generous hospitality and all the pleasure of a meal worth sitting down for.

Christmas Day | £85 per adult

Bookings are available from 1pm, with the last seating at 3pm. Tables are reserved for two hours, with pre-order and payment required to secure your booking.
