Its the weekend and after our flooding we are back to it serving new and fantastic beers for the weekend (and the weather looks like it's on the up)

We have SPATEN on the taps today, i have seen numerous reports that this wasnt available in the UK, but... we've managed to snag a keg!

We also have a brand new beer on from Sureshot to celebrate the start of the World Cup. A fantastic New Zealand 4.5% Pale Ale.

Also some new beers in the fridges including the full selection of Iron Brew "beers"

We also have the inferno collection 👀 Will you dare try!! 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶

Thank you for everyones help and thank you to Sean, who came and sorted the leak out.

We have replaced as many tiles as I had spare and some new ones will be coming next week.

But thankfully the leak as stopped and we are open as normal from 530pm.

There is bits we need to do but nothing that will effect your drinking 🍻

🏆 World Cup 2026 starts tomorrow evening from 8 PM! ⚽️

​If you were lucky enough to grab one of our Sweepstake tickets, you can collect yours tomorrow evening! Just let our staff know which team you drew. Or, if you prefer the suspense, keep it a mystery and open it whenever you're ready—it’s entirely up to you! 🎟️👀

​We’ve been getting one big question a lot lately: "Are you showing the World Cup games?"

​The short answer is: Yes and No.
​We will have the games on our small screen, but without sound, and only if they fall during our normal opening hours.

​We won't be extending our hours for the tournament. We feel that there are some fantastic sports pubs in the local area that are much better equipped to showcase the events than we are.

​So, if you want to keep one eye on the score without the noisy commentary, or if you’re just not interested in the football at all and just want a great pint, we are definitely the place for you during our usual hours! 🍻

​If you’re after the full-on, high-volume football experience (like I am!), there are plenty of brilliant pubs right on our doorstep to catch the action. 👌

Its the weekend and we have some absolute delights on our taps tonight, with a couple of bangers to follow:

We have MONSTERS AQUARIUM at last, back on the taps after a little while and you haven't stopped asking for it to return.

We all know this will be gone in record time as per usual (I may have another keg 😉)

We also have Hawkstone Premium Lager on the taps this weekend, A first for us.

We have a big hitter on the taps, Dust Bunnies from Azvex Brewing Co. Coming in at a whopping 7.2%

To come on, we have the returning Dustys Ginger Beer after being so popular last time, we've decided to put it on again.

Also another first from us, we will be putting Henry Westons Vintage Cider 5.2% on our taps as soon as a tap becomes available (wont be long)

A great weekend of beers lined up for you, including all the usual cans/bottles etc we always offer with a new delivery of Pulp Ciders in fridge also.

Thank you everyone for being patience with us over last few days, we have had major problems with the cooler and not been able to serve draft beers for the last few days...

BUT.... Thankfully the cooler is now fixed and the beer is freezing cold!!!
