Asked Danny to show me how to “tap” the cask and I think it’s safe to say he needs a few more lessons and I need to change my pants from laughing 😆

WE ARE OPEN AS NORMAL TODAY HOWEVER….

Due to an install at the bar we will not be opening TOMORROW (Tuesday) until 5pm.

So will see you all a little later in the day tomorrow!

EDIT!!!!!!!

So not gonna name names (MEL)

Well, she who will remain anonymous (MEL) forgot that the chippy doesn’t open until 4pm so she needs to hang her head in shame and push 2pm chips back to 4pm chips!!

So…..

Who fancies a chip butty with their pint tomorrow at 4pm!!

Weather is shocking but the bar is cosy, the ale is exceptional so we thought why not give you all the pleasure of butter soaked bread with chips laced in salt and vinegar…..

You know where to find us!

At this time of year the words on everyone’s lips are “festive fun” and we have you covered here at Barrel Inn Eastham

New Years Eve is going to be special…. Come join us as we say goodbye to 2026 and welcome in the New Year and all the great things that 2027 will hopefully bring!

This is a ticketed event. So once the tickets are gone, they really are gone!

We aren’t out to make money from the ticket sales but they do allow us to plan for the event…

Tickets cost £10.00 per person but when you arrive on the night your first drink is free of charge!

We will also have a selection of canapés of offer and the awesome talent that is Rob S Thomas Music will be bringing you live music throughout the evening.

Tickets will very soon be available to purchase from behind the bar but be prepared to act fast as I guarantee they will be sold out faster than you can say “Barrel Inn”

Come join us for our first ever New Years Eve Party. You won’t want to miss it!

W**e Flights!!!

Well we couldn’t give the ale drinkers something without offering up something for those who like the finer things in life….

You can now purchase three 125ml glasses of w**e we serve behind the bar (excluding those we only sell by the bottle)….

Fancy trying all that’s on offer or going all out and choosing one red, one rose, one white….

There are no rules here. Just select and sample. We will even throw in an opinion slip for you to write your reviews should you wish.

So head to the bar at Barrel Inn Eastham and ask for further details.
