Our beautiful pub and restaurant combines the cosy, rustic features of the countryside with delicious, contemporary food and drink. Our menus change seasonally to offer you the very best, fresh ingredients. And when it comes to refreshment, our fridges are fully stocked with plenty to choose from, including countryside ciders, cask ales, prosecco and carefully selected wines. Dating back to the 17th century, The Globe is part of Newton St. And today, our pub still preserves the remnants of the original old colliery building, adding to our charm and character. As part of the Vintage Inns family, we’re proud of our countryside heritage and welcoming service which ensures you’ll always receive the Vintage treatment. We are supporting Social Bite and the movement to end homelessness by rolling a b**r barrel 10 miles around London on the 24th September 2026, there are 10 of us in total sharing the rolling, making 100 miles in total to support Social Bites 100 mile challenge 2026.

Social Bite are a charity and social business providing homes, jobs, food, and support to empower people experiencing homelessness to transform their own lives.

Social Bite believes everyone deserves a safe place to call home, that a job can be truly transformative for someone who has experienced homelessness, and that food is one of the most powerful tools to help signpost people to access support.
