The Jolly Sailor - Saltford

The Jolly Sailor - Saltford 17th Century real pub oozing rustic charm, directly on the picturesque River Avon The ancient listed building was constructed in 1726 .

The historic Jolly Sailor riverside pub is situated overlooking Saltford Lock in a stunning location on the River Avon, between Bristol and Bath. Two large fireplaces create a cozy atmosphere in the winter with blazing log fires. A beautiful beer garden overlooks the Lock with its’ constant activity of river traffic. A conservatory for indoor dining has wonderful views across the river to Colston.

Our renowned extensive menu ranges from light bites to full meat and famous fish dishes and daily specials. In addition we stock a wide range of real ales and international beers as well as a full selection of fine wines.

⛵ MESSAGE FOR BOATERS 🚨

Unfortunately Lock 4 is blocked Bath side. DO NOT try to come through either way. The blockage is deep under water and the branches will get caught in the props/motor.

We have contacted Canal & River Trust to clear however they can't get here till possibly tomorrow but more like early next week. We are unsure if this is too clear or to assess the situation.

Please send to anyone who is currently traveling through lock 4 from either way, Bristol or Bath.

WHAT A WEEKEND ☀️

Thank you everyone for helping kick our first bank holiday weekend off with a bang!
You practically drank us out of beer, sang till your voices were horse and were back for the hair of the dog!

Massive thank you to Chris Warren for bringing The Beatleful South down to entertain us all, you were both fantastic!

We could not be happier with the turn out over the ENTIRE weekend! And we also thank you for your patience with us and our team, it was a very hot and busy weekend for us all!
