Today we are open from 12-10.30pm.

It's the last day of Bathtoberfest and we are starting it all The Bell with beer, pizza and live music!

The Pizza Bike will be in the garden until 5pm serving freshly prepared pizza.

Live music starts at 1pm and features the Alamo Leal All Stars -
Brazilian Alamo was a major bluesical attraction in these parts for a big bunch of years, and a stellar slice of the very best local players always wants to join in when he pops back: Pete Gage, Mike Hoddinott, and so forth. Thoroughly top.

Today we are open from 1-11pm.

It's the final weekend of Bathtoberfest and we have vinyl DJs playing throughout the day, starting at 3pm with Mick + Bruno's Saturday Shuffle and continuing until close with guest DJs from the Walcot Vinyl Collective.
The Pizza Bike is back in the garden today, serving delicious sourdough pizza from 1-9pm.

Today we are open from 1-11pm - as Bathtoberfest continues we present, in The Bell Back Bar, The Playgroup open mic sessions.

Everybody and everything welcome. Get here for 8pm to book a slot or email Pasha - [email protected] - to reserve a place beforehand.

We have a 2KW PA system, mics, guitars and a piano for your use.

There are also 2 UV air filter units in the room, each of these sanitises 30 cubic metres of air per hour and are certified to kill 99.9% of ALL viruses

Let's be frank [Franc], their last visit was one of the warmest and most enchanting gigs we can remember enjoying at the pub, like, ever...

Gibraltar's Cultural Ambassador, no less, Cerys Matthews says he's a cross between Cohen & Diamond [Neil that is], which we will take as an indication of enthusiasm. A fine poetic songwriter, anyway!

Dan insists - and he should know - that this new band starts where the much loved Tezeta left off; with his composing skills and contact book stuffed with great musicians, we have no reason to doubt it.

As Bathtoberfest continues around the city we feature the Clay Bottom Jug Busters as our lunchtime special: 'Two Joes, Strouzer and Trudgeon [try saying that in a hurry] engage in jugbandly activity for your entertainment. I'm sure the idea was that you drained the jug as you went and the music and merriment multiplied accordingly.'

It's the start of Bathtoberfest 2022 with the launch party being held at The Bell!

Legendary vinyl DJ Mick RPM kicks things off at 5.30pm followed at 9pm by live music from Moonshot -
Special extra gig for the beginning of the Bath Pubs Oktobetfest is also the return to live work post-pandemic and a bit more of the Westcountry's finest and most loved exponents of Studio One style early reggae & ska. There are hundreds of contenders out there, but for us these are the first and best.

Please note the Pizza Bike will be closed until 7th October.

Bathtoberfest 2022 @ The Raven...

The Raven will be getting some cracking beer in from our boozy friends in Europe and will have a tap or two dedicated to the good stuff all the way through Bathoberfest. Don't forget to leave some room for one of their excellent pies!
