Four years of The New Crown Inn… and honestly, where has the time gone?! ❤️🍻
Four years ago I stepped through those doors as manager, never quite knowing where the journey would take me. Fast forward to now, and somehow I’m the proud landlady of a proper old-school boozer that means more to me than I could ever put into words.
When I look back at where we started and where we are now, I’m genuinely bloody proud. There have been plenty of challenges, plenty of long days, a few tears, a LOT of laughs and more changes than I ever imagined — and we’re still nowhere near finished! There are some very exciting things in the pipeline, and I can’t wait to see what's to come. ❤️
A huge thank you to everyone who has rolled their sleeves up, got stuck in and helped turn my ideas (and sometimes my crazy ideas 🤣) into reality. I really couldn’t have done it without you.
To my amazing team, past and present — thank you for putting up with me, my moods, my madness and everything in between! You’ve been bloody brilliant, and I’m incredibly lucky to have had so many great people alongside me.
And Ash ❤️ Thank you for being there through all of it — the good, the stressful, the ridiculous and everything in between. I couldn’t have done this without you.
But most of all, this is for you lot. ❤️
Every regular, local, visitor, friend, guest, new face, familiar face and, of course, my professional wankers 🤣 You’re the reason this place has a heartbeat.
Keeping a proper community pub going isn’t always easy, but it’s something I’m incredibly proud to be doing. The New Crown Inn is so much more than somewhere to have a drink — it’s a place to meet, laugh, celebrate, commiserate, make memories and hopefully always feel welcome.
Four years in, and I still bloody love it.
So here’s to everything we’ve achieved, everything still to come, and plenty more years of keeping the lights on, the pints flowing and the madness going! ❤️🍻
Love,
Boss Lady x
