Daddy, chill! We've got a fresh IPA hitting the lineup, and it's bringing some insane hop character.

Daddy Chill West Coast IPA | 6.8% ABV

Loaded up with Urban Roots-select Simcoe, Mosaic Cryo, and Simcoe Quantum, this crisp, refreshing West Coast IPA delivers notes of peach, mixed berries, and resin, with a clean, exceptionally smooth finish.

Big hop flavor, easy-drinking finish. What's not to love? Relax and have a cold one, y'all! 🍻

After the success of our Kaffe Americano Coffee Stout featuring coffee from our friends at , we couldn't help but wonder... what if we went BIGGER?

Enter: KAFFE AFFOGATO ☕🍨

For this one, we went straight to the source! Our team had the opportunity to visit Temple Coffee's roasting facility, get a behind-the-scenes look at their process, and learn more about the incredible coffee going into our b**rs.

While Kaffe Americano featured Temple's Dharma Espresso Blend, we decided to switch things up for Kaffe Affogato, choosing their Costa Rica Sonora Estate Single Origin Espresso.

A huge shout-out to the Temple crew for the incredible hospitality and for sharing their passion and expertise with us!

We have a feeling this is going to be one seriously decadent b**r, and we can't wait to share it with you.

OVER A POUND OF TOASTED COCONUT. PER GALLON. 🥥 Yeah, we went a little overboard with this one.

It's time to reveal the SECOND bottle in our Demons Run 2026 Halloween release lineup!

DEMONS RUN COCONUT VANILLA 2026
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout | 15.1% ABV

We took Demons Run and loaded it up with an enormous amount of coconut and vanilla. We're talking over ONE POUND of toasted coconut per gallon, plus TWO POUNDS of whole Madagascar vanilla beans added to this year's batch.

The result? An incredibly rich, decadent stout bursting with coconut, vanilla, chocolate, and bourbon. Think liquid Mounds bar meets German chocolate cake.

Dessert in a bottle? Pretty much.

Our Thanksgiving Takeout Shop is officially open for pre-orders, and we've got everything you need to make this year's feast a little easier.

Choose from Whole Smoked Turkeys, Smoked Hams, or go all-in with one of our Thanksgiving Feasts (feeds 10-14), complete with a whole smoked turkey and all the fixins. And of course, we've got dessert covered, too!

Here's something new from this year's Great American B**r Festival!

For the first time, GABF announced the b**rs that made it to the final table of judging in some of the competition's most competitive categories. And we're stoked to share that Rock Me All Mosaic was one of those b**rs in the American IPA category!

While it didn't take home a medal, making it that far in a category packed with incredible b**rs is something we're pretty damn proud of.

One of the things our brewing team values most about competitions like GABF is the feedback from the judges. Peter, Julian, and the crew take that feedback seriously, using it to evaluate their b**rs and decide where they can make tweaks and improvements.

Congrats to our entire production crew on another b**r getting some well-deserved recognition!

Introducing Hornet L***r: an All-American L***r crafted by Urban Roots Brewmaster and Sacramento State alum Peter Hoey. 🐝🍻

Now the official b**r of Sacramento State Athletics, Hornet L***r was made for game days, backyard BBQs, watch parties, and anywhere else Hornet fans gather.

Julian headed down to Kern River Brewing last weekend to help celebrate their 20th Anniversary, and we were beyond stoked to be one of just THREE breweries invited to brew a collaboration b**r for the occasion, alongside our friends at Riip B**r Co. and Firestone Walker!

An epic weekend celebrating 20 years of great b**r, great people, and one very successful brew day. Huge thanks to the Kern River crew for including us in such a special milestone!

The b**r should be ready in just a couple of weeks, and we're hoping to get our hands on some kegs to pour right here at Urban Roots.

DEMON'S RUN IS COMING 😈

Halloween marks the return of Demon's Run, and we're kicking things off with the first of TWO bottles we'll be releasing this year.

DEMON'S RUN 2026 | Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout | 15.2% ABV

After the incredible run our 2025 Demon's Run had on the competition circuit, including multiple awards and a recent Gold Medal at the Great American B**r Festival, it's safe to say expectations are pretty high for this year's release. And we couldn't be more excited about what's in these bottles.

This b**r was built for the barrel from day one. Brewed last year with no intention of ever releasing a fresh version, Demon's Run went into Wild Turkey bourbon casks in September 2025, where it spent the next 13 months aging before being carefully blended for this year's release.

The result? A big, bold Imperial Stout with rich notes of bourbon, toffee, chocolate, port, and burnt sugar. Despite its strength, it drinks remarkably smooth.

Unlike our Chocolate Moustache series, Demon's Run leans into a more traditional British-style Imperial Stout profile. Less residual sweetness, no pastry stout additions, just a beautifully balanced, barrel-forward b**r that lets the stout and bourbon do the talking.

Available Halloween, Saturday, October 31st.
