The Coast Cafe Bar opened in March 2012, the premises have been totally transformed into a contemporary coastal café bar with a relaxing chill out area, with sofas and poseur tables and we also have a dedicated café/restaurant area & a stunning outdoor Al Fresco dining area. There is a farmhouse style shop, selling quality local produce, like honey. We have free WI-FI along with flat screen TVs for those unmissable sporting events. We sell local ice cream, confectionery and cakes, snacks and beautiful locally handcrafted gifts. There is an off licence and when available, a small selection of takeaway meals. The Coast Cafe Bar specialises in fabulous fresh home cooked hearty food, in a fun, friendly and stylish atmosphere, all for an incredibly appetising price. We also serve up a variety of fresh teas and coffees made using our fantastic Italian style coffee machine and locally produced Baytown Coffee. You can also enjoy draught lagers, a variety of cocktails, wines and spirits, as well as many other bottled lagers, ciders and soft drinks.

❤️ Coast Café Update ❤️

We’re back open Thursday to Sunday, 9.30am–3pm, plus Saturday evenings!

With just five weeks of the season left, our last day will be Sunday 29 November. We’d really love your support to help us make the most of the remaining weeks. Every visit, coffee, meal and share of our posts makes a real difference to our little business. ❤️

The girls and I would also like to say a heartfelt thank you for the incredible number of messages, cards, flowers and kind gestures we’ve received since losing Chris. We’ve been truly touched by the love and support shown to us, and it means more than we can say.

We’re still finding things very difficult, and although we appreciate people wanting to talk about Chris and share their memories, it can be hard to talk about our loss over and over again. We hope you understand if we sometimes struggle to find the words or need to change the subject. Please know how grateful we are for your kindness and patience as we take things day by day.

Thank you for continuing to support Coast Café and for being such a lovely community around us. We hope to see you soon.

❤️ A little update from Coast Café ❤️

We will be reopening Coast Café tomorrow, Friday 16 October, and plan to open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

As many of you know, we sadly lost Chris on 6 October. It has been an incredibly difficult time for us all, and we would like to thank everyone for the kindness and support you have shown us.

We hope to see some familiar faces over the weekend. We may be a little quieter than usual, so we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we find our feet again.

We know many of you will want to send your condolences, and we are so grateful for every kind thought and message. Please understand if we aren’t able to reply to everyone just yet as we take things one day at a time.

Thank you for being part of the Coast Café family and for bearing with us during this difficult time. Your support means a great deal to us, and we hope to see you soon.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our much-loved Chris passed away on 6 October.

This is a very difficult time for the girls and me as we come to terms with our loss. We are taking each day as it comes and supporting one another as a family.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with messages, kindness and support. Your thoughtfulness means a great deal to us, and we are truly grateful for all the love and understanding you have shown.

❤️ A little update from us ❤️
We’re really pleased to say that Coast will be back open this Thursday, 17th September!
Many of you may not know that it was Chris who became unexpectedly and suddenly unwell. He is now home and slowly recovering, taking things one day at a time. His health and recovery remain our number one priority. ❤️
As we adjust to being without a key member of our team, we’ll be serving breakfast and lunch only this week, with no evening service, and there may be some slight changes and adaptations to our menu while we find our feet in the kitchen.
We want to say another huge thank you for all your kind messages, best wishes, patience, understanding and continued support. It has meant so much to Chris and to all of us at Coast.
We’re looking forward to getting back to doing what we love and welcoming you all through our doors again. ❤️
