So now it’s time to let you guys in on what we’ve got planned for next Saturday the 12th of September…
☀️ GLASTONKEYS ☀️

Starting from 1pm over at Hall Yard, we’re bringing back our annual Tug of War event. Come down with your team of 4 or simply come to support (& watch people fall in the river) 🪢

Then back to The Keys to get the day started – we have been fortunate enough to move the bands which were due to play at CliffeFest over to us. These guys start at 3.30pm, with The Kobras, then onto Kitchen Disco Band and finishing with Cosmic Rodney 🎸

We will be serving festival food & our homemade stone baked pizza’s throughout the day, starting early afternoon 🍔🍕

We also have our own B**r & C***r Festival going on. You will be able to purchase different Real Ales & C***rs in our bar in the b**r garden. Alongside Cocktails in the Cafe, which you can purchase by the glass or a jug 🍺🍹

In the evening, we will have G Man here in the main bar with Karaoke. Always a great night and no better way to finish off an eventful day 🎤

We truly hope for a brilliant day/night for all the communities to enjoy. We’re really sad to see CliffeFest postponed this year, as we know how much it means to the community and what a fantastic event it has become over the years.

Being massive supporters of live music and local musicians, we feel it is only right that we continue to keep the music going and give the village something to enjoy❤️🎶

So come and join us, bring your friends, bring the family and let’s make a proper day of it! ☀️🍻🎸

Wow what a response on our last post about our B**r & Live Music Day on the 12th of September due to the sad news of CliffeFest being postponed to next year.

So we’ve been super busy the last 24 hours arranging everything and we’ve managed to arrange all bands which were performing at CliffeFest to now perform at The Cross Keys!

That being said, from 3pm Live Music will start, we’re just sorting timings of each band. We will have The Kobras, Kitchen Disco Band and Cosmic Rodney performing throughout the day. Once the bands have finished we will have Graham set up to take the night away with Karaoke 🎤

We are finalising our Festival Menu alongside our stone baked pizza’s. Cocktails will be served in the cafe & multiple marquee’s will be put up if the weather says we need them!

Again, we still have so much more things planned so watch this space👀

Due to the sad news about CliffeFest being postponed, we thought why not bring community spirit together and host our own B**r Festival & Live Music Day on the 12th of September.

This will be a full day of live music, different Real Ales, Cocktail jugs, Festival Menu & Pizza’s in the b**r garden. Do not worry about the weather, we have that covered too!

Watch this space, while we get everything sorted ready we will be dropping hints of what we have planned.

Sunday Funday☀️⛅️
Join us this bank holiday Sunday, we know the weather doesn’t look great this evening however we have Jessie's Ghost in the building tonight. These guys will be performing inside if the weather doesn’t look great!!

As normal we will be serving Sunday Carvery today from 12pm-3pm. Then from 5.30pm we will be serving pizza’s and Jessie’s Ghost will be performing!

⛈️TONIGHT⛈️
We’ve held off as long as possible but with the thunder, lightning and rain we simply won’t be able to go ahead with the planned entertainment tonight. THE KOBRAS are cancelled❌ we apologise for any inconvenience but these things can’t be helped.

But still pop down anyways, we have plenty of sitting inside and if you wanna watch the storm we have uncover seating outside.

We hope pizza’s may be able to continue however this is solely 50/50 possibly. We will be doing our normal menu & specials!

We hope that the planned activities for Sunday - will still go ahead Jessie's Ghost will be performing from 5pm and pizza’s aswell☀️ let’s wish for some sun!

Tomorrow marks the start of the 47th Peterborough B**r Festival. As always the event opens early for trade workers, as our amazing team works hard all year round it’s only right we let them loose for a day to go and enjoy the B**r Festival.

So we would like to make you aware we will not be open as normal tomorrow. We will reopen on Wednesday at 12pm with some sore heads but ready to go!

If you see us on the embankment make sure you say hey👋🏼
