Tonight we have 1st semi final of the rugby world cup, on the big screen at 8 pm, and tomorrow 2nd semi final England V South Africa, also at 8pm. Guinness £3. 00 pint from 7pm tonight and tomorrow night. Don't forget to book your Sunday lunch as well, served 12 noon to 4pm. Thanks. Nigel

Thanks to everyone that came and enjoyed our opening weekend, we hope you enjoyed the complimentary hospitality and entertainment, thanks to Dave Smith and Nicole Lawrence for outstanding performances, we will be doing more live music in the future.
We are now fully open Tuesday to Sunday, all the opening times, menus, drinks ect are available to view on ruddyduckpeakirk.co.uk

Update on reopening. We will be reopening on Saturday 7th October and we will be having an 'open weekend' to allow all our family, friends, local people, and frankly anyone who wishes to see the 'new look'. We have 'brightened up the place, we have new bar products, a new menu, and new staff. We hope you will like it and support us.
We will open at 1pm on Saturday 7th, with a free glass of fizz or soft drink, there will be nibbles supplied, this will run until 4pm, quickly followed by entertainment with David James Smith playing a solo spot until 7pm. On sunday 8th we will be opening at 1pm with the bar open and hot pork rolls and hot dogs followed by music from X factor finalist Nicole Lawrence until 7pm. The bar will be open of course on both days.Look forward to welcoming you all. We will be starting our full new menu on Wednesday 11th October. Opening times to be confirmed . Many thanks. Nigel.

As you will have noticed the pub is temporarily closed for refurbishment. My name is Nigel Cook, and i am the new owner/landlord. We are hoping to be up and running by the end of September/beginning of October. The interior will be much lighter and brighter, new brands on the bar, a new menu, with food available every day, including traditional sunday lunch. In addition we will be hosting the usual village pub activities, including quiz night's, music events, beer festivals etc. We hope to be good neighbours to surrounding residents, and a vital part of the local community. Constructive suggestions are always welcome. Opening times are currently being reviewed. Long term plans include extending the beer garden, opening up the bottom field, and perhaps airbnb.
We are urrently looking for a full time chef, and part time bar staff, with excellent rates of pay. I am on site most days, the pub number remains the same (01733252426). Website, Google etc are still being updated. Very exited, both for myself and the pubs future. Regards Nigel

DUCKFEST 2023 a massive Thank you to all of you who dug deep, we still have quite a few now limited edition commemorative pint glasses of which we will be taking with us to The Limetree Pub next Friday if you want one pop over and see us there.
