The Angel Inn is a traditional 17th century pub set in the little East Northamptonshire village of Yarwell. We are proud to offer a relaxed, casual and friendly atmosphere and always a warm welcome. This is how good pubs used to be - a real pub for real people without a trace of pretentiousness! Lovely warm open fire, real ales and and an extensive list of real ciders. Put some sounds on the jukebox, order from the bar menu, a game of darts or pool? Take a seat in our huge beer garden - and the dog is more than welcome to join you, inside or out.

Are we 'missing a trick' by not offering roast dinners on a Sunday?
Nah - be yourself as everyone else is already taken!

We stay true to ourselves in keeping our little local as a wet-led environment, but if you fancy lunch with us, we're here for you,
just don't ask to book a table - that's what restaurants want you to do!

Kitchen times are until 3pm but we're open all day

Happy Halloween you bunch of ghoulies!

Angelyville opens at 12noon, kitchen times being 12-2pm and 6-8.30pm, Mrs. Lovett pie anyone?

Scaryoke tonight - don your scary outfits and frighten the sh*te out of us with your singing. Shouldn't be too hard eh?

Singing starts at 9pm, but we'll be in our garb way before then, so you'll be in good company, well, ours anyway,!

'The Reverse Mullet' opens at 5pm this evening.
Party at the front, business at the back!

We love a laugh and a bit of childish banter on the floor. But backstage in the kitchen, cellars, store rooms? We don't mess around.

We are pleased to advise after an unannounced and intrusive visit by the Northants EHO yesterday evening during service, we have been awarded 5-Stars for our Health & Hygiene practices.

Massive shout out to our little team!

We're not a restaurant style pub (that's not our bag) but what we do, we promise we do it cleanly and professionally!

Who's been blown this morning?
Boelo is howling through but after 355 years, this little one is still standing proud on Yarwell Main Street!
Our door opens at midday, you can get a roast dinner in the radius of pubs around us, but this wet emphasis proper one continues with the unpretentious offering, even on the Sabbath - order before 3pm though.
The Sunday therapy session then takes place until our weekly quick commences at 7.30pm.
That's Sunday wrapped up - we need it, it's a brisk one x

One of our customers has had his own bees honey jarred up. It's delicious.
Sadly, marketing isn't his strong point - the jars have no labels on, so we thought we'd help him out!
While we officially can't sell it on his behalf, we can pass on your desire for a jar, so if you fancy a jar of bee w**k, just let us know next time you're in! £6 per jar.- the bees are residents of Stibbington.

At 5pm, the fire will be ablaze, the kitchen will be hot and you'll be steaming.

It's looking a bit autumnal now at no. 59 so like the leaves, drop in and help make the place look even more of a mess!
The kitchen is open 12-3pm, the quiz is at 7.30pm, so drop everything* and have a slice of England.

*Exceptions: pants, guts, kids off at the pool
