are certainly no strangers to our taps so we thought it would be a nice idea to load the cellar up for your enjoyment over this year's NR3 Beer Mile!

We'll have a lovely selection available across keg and cask from the get-go with more dropping here and there over the week as you put 'em away.

We will also have the modern classic NITRO White Rat (big hoppy creamers!) available for the duration of the event.

The guys who know how to host a Jam - Ben Allen and Mikey Shaw are back at the Artichoke next Thurs (6th Aug) for the second installment of Chubby Jams in our garden!

These two have been playing together and creating music for many years stretching through a wide variety of genres! You may have seen them in bands such as High Points, Ray Keith, Bomb Fayre Band, Solko, Piratones, Leo Lore/Dlore, Dub Cavern productions and so many more!

An improv Jam night, either bring an instrument and get involved or just enjoy the magic that happens in the moment when musicians get together on stage!

Backline and PA provided, bring your fine selves in fine style and connect with what the musicians around Norwich have to offer.

Last one was absolute vibes. Don't miss it!

Plus Fellas are popping up in the kitchen serving tasty seasonal small plates and sharing platters so you can get some delicious treats while you watch or play at the session! Check out their instagram Food By Fellas

📢 Ur community needs u 🫵

We're throwing a jamboree to celebrate all the super cool wholesome stuff happening in our area, and raise awareness for some amazing organisations working hard to improve our city.

It's going to be a bit of mash-up of a day falling somewhere between a 'freshers fair' for community groups & societies, a variety show and a village fete focusing on the NR3 community.

Very excited for Blue’s NR3 @ The Rosebery to be taking over our kitchen that day serving their famous burgers, plus naughty shawarmas, loaded fries and desserts. There'll be plenty of veggie and vegan options on the menu so everyone can get stuck in to the grub!

Come and mingle with other good eggs. People that want to bring positive change to their neighbourhood. Find out about workshops, courses, volunteering and charitable opportunities.

We'll also be showcasing some of the events and community activities that take place here at The Artichoke pub so you can sample the awesome stuff that's on offer here from week to week:

Massive thanks to FLOC. Brewery and DEYA Brewery for hitting us up to be a launch venue for three absolutely hoooge collab beers... that all confusingly have the same name!

The beers have been brewed to showcase the latest and greatest New Zealand hop harvest from Freestyle Hops

The Beers:

Cloud Forms - DDH Pale - 5% - pillowy soft and hazy as can be pale using new season Nectaron, Motueka and Nelson

Cloud Forms - DDH IPA - 6.5% - super saturated NEIPA with Nelson, Peacherine, Nectaron and Tropical Fusion (NZ Greatest Hits Hop Blend)

Available from tomorrow:

Cloud Forms - CASK Pale - 4% - soft and bright cask pale with Motueka, NZ Cascade and Nelson

We're back at the The Artichoke next week for our ‘Bring Your Own’ vinyl session, where you can bring along your favourite records to share with fellow music fans.

This month’s theme is ‘Cover Versions’, particularly covers you consider better than the original, and those obscure versions!

We’ll do our best to get through as many of everyone’s requests as possible, and if you would like to say a few words about your choices on the night that would be great. If you’d prefer to just sit back and enjoy hearing some excellent music, that’s fine too.
