So long, and thanks for all the beers – Part 1 🍻
You may be aware that over the last few months the pub has been up for sale, and today we can finally say that we’ll be passing the premises on to a new owner.
We first began work on The Malt and Mardle back in October 2020, now five and a half years ago! To say it’s been a journey would be an understatement, but we are immensely proud of what The Malt and Mardle has become.
There are so many people we need to thank for making it all possible: family and friends who supported us and mucked in when we first opened. Everyone in the trade who welcomed us, offered advice, and helped spread the word. All the brilliant staff who’ve worked at The Malt over the years; and of course, our fantastic customers who came in for a pint and happily yapped our ears off.
It’s been a genuine pleasure to serve everyone who’s visited the pub, and we hope to see many of you again, this time on the other side of the bar.
