The ultimate dessert dilemma…

Rich, indulgent Triple Chocolate Brownie with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream, or a classic Sticky Toffee Pudding smothered in warm toffee sauce, with your choice of custard or ice cream.

Two autumn comfort favourites, but which one are you choosing? Let us know in the comments 👇

The cosiest gastro pub in Cheshire? We like to think so 🍂✨

Think log fire, cosy corners, hearty pub classics and a glass of red... or two!

As the temperatures drop, there's nowhere we'd rather be than tucked away at The Boars Head. Your cosy season plans are sorted 🍷🐗

Comfort food doesn’t get much better than this 🥧

Our Chicken, Gammon & Leek Pie has earned its cult-classic status, with buttery golden shortcrust pastry, thick-cut chips, seasonal vegetables and our famous rosemary cream sauce.

A proper pub favourite, made for cosy days, colder evenings and those times when only pie will do 🍂

When it’s starting to get cold outside, this is exactly where we want to be 🍂

A glass of w**e and a Sunday Roast with towering Yorkshires, golden roast potatoes and all the trimmings, finished with a generous pour of our famous gravy 😍

Make Sunday afternoon one to look forward to. Roasts served every Sunday from 12–7pm.
