Dating all the way back to 1680, The Northern Belle has more than just a few stories to tell…

Legend has it that our pub is haunted by a mysterious woman dressed in white, who has reportedly been spotted wandering through the bar, cellar and upstairs rooms over the years! 👀👻

So come and join us for some spooky drinks this Halloween weekend… just don’t be surprised if you find yourself sharing a pint with someone from the other side! 🤣🍻

At the Northern Belle, we are committed to creating a welcoming, friendly and positive environment for both our customers and staff.

Unfortunately, recent incidents have prompted us to remind everyone that disrespectful behaviour, malicious gossip, inappropriate questioning of staff and negative comments directed towards our team will NOT be tolerated.

We would also like to make it clear that matters relating to the management and operation of the business, are private and are not matters for public discussion or
speculation.

Our team works incredibly hard to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone who visits, and we firmly believe that every member of staff deserves to be treated with courtesy, dignity and respect.

Any individual engaging in behaviour that undermines this environment, causes unnecessary conflict or involves harassment or disrespect towards our staff will be asked to leave the premises and, where appropriate, refused future entry.

We welcome constructive feedback and will always be happy to address genuine concerns through the appropriate channels. However, personal criticism, rumours and deliberate negativity have no place within our establishment.

To our loyal customers who continue to support the Northern Belle and our wonderful team, we sincerely thank you. Your continued kindness and support doesn’t go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

Our focus remains on building a positive future for the Northern Belle, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring it continues to be a pub that our staff are proud to be part of and our customers love to visit. 💛⚓
