Did you know we bake our cakes right here in-house?

While we know you all love our classic drizzles and Victoria sponge cupcakes (and trust us, we love making them!). We’re always up for experimenting with something new. You might have spotted us testing out some new flavours such as sticky ginger and cherry bakewell, but we want to know, what cake would you like to see on the counter next?

As the summer season comes to an end, we’ve given our menu a fresh revamp!

Our breakfast favourites are staying right where they are, and we’ve now introduced an all-day menu (served daily from midday) filled with hearty, warming dishes alongside light sandwiches and a fresh salad. Don’t worry we’ve kept the classics like our daily frittata and mushroom crumpet 🍄‍🟫.

Yes yes yes . . . we really should be posting more often, but this extended summer is keeping us busy doing our real job; feeding and watering you lovely lot 🙂.

Summer 2026 has been a belter, with ambitious changes to what Seabird offers across a BIG BIG summer. We love this review by The Margate Mercury for neatly summing up what we're about - or at least what we are about until the clocks change and the sun starts setting earlier and earlier.

Next up, Autumn Winter 26/27 with loads of all-day all-night new stuff for you to try.

In the meantime, help us to keep squeezing what we can from the sunshine and the terrace. We're open from 9am every day 🌞

WHOOP!

We've had a terrific summer of music on the Seabird terrace, as we've tentatively introduced vinyl-only inside / outside DJ vibes to our corner of The Parade. Join us for our last weekend of summer sounds - until we announce our winter plans.

From the 1980s East London soundscape of Electro Funk and Rare Groove to the forefront of modern House music. Now based in Margate, this Midnight Riot Records affiliate brings his signature upbeat, soulful production style straight to the decks.

Saturday: Inky


From hosting her monthly 'Dub House Disco' Margate Radio show, Opening for De la Soul, The Roots and PharCyde at Dreamland, DJing for Veuve Cliquot at Wilderness Festival to annual Margate Soul Festival sets at the George & Heart, Inky is a familiar name to coastal clubbers in Margate.

She brings her unique blend of sounds to Seabird, playing house, soul, jazz, funk & disco
