Spend a Sunday afternoon slowing down, looking closely and learning to paint a portrait in the downstairs space at Sam’s Café.
Hosted by artist Chloé Nelson, founder of Painting People, this relaxed three-hour experience is designed for complete beginners as well as those who already enjoy painting.
Working from a favourite photograph that you bring with you, you’ll be guided through the process of creating an expressive oil portrait using artist-quality materials. No pressure, no previous experience and no expectation of perfection. Just a chance to spend a few hours making something with your hands in good company.
