Just seconds from the waters of Regent’s Canal in Primrose Hill is The Engineer, a dog-friendly pub named after Isambard Kingdom Brunel, a famous 19th-century inventor, most known for the design and construction of the Thames Tunnel. Like the inspiration for our name, we’re something of craftsmen ourselves, creating a unique setting for all occasions, whether it’s after-work drinks in our spacious beer garden, an unforgettable work meeting in our quiet areas, or a big event that’s every bit as special as you were hoping in our private dining spaces. We also have full venue hire available if you’re planning a more intimate affair…

Once you’ve explored both of our glorious bars – that’s right, we have two! – make time to visit a few more of London’s must-see attractions, including Regent’s Park, London Zoo, Camden Town, and Camden Market.

Just two days until we launch our Autumn menu! Come and meet our new additions! Starting off with a real crowd pleaser. Venison steak, potato gratin, spiced red cabbage, blackberries & red w**e jus.

Burrata, pomegranate molasses, dates, sourdough crisp. An autumnal twist on a firm Engineer favourite.

Panko-Breaded Olives, romesco dip. Crispy, salty and tangy. The perfect bar snack

Chalk Stream Trout Tartare, Sicilian lemon and dill aioli, sourdough crostini. Tastes just as good as it looks. This is not one to miss

Saving the best until last. Baileys bread & butter pudding with bourbon vanilla Ice cream. Decadent, sweet and just a little bit naughty. One of the best desserts we’ve ever had on our menu.
