Last week we hosted our 4th annual International Women’s Day celebration at BloomsYard Liverpool Street, in collaboration with the brilliant Female Founders Rise community.

The room was full of women building businesses, sharing experiences and supporting one another.

We also heard from three inspiring voices on the night:

Bharti Radix, founder of BloomsYard
Emmie Faust, founder of Female Founders Rise
Becca Armstrong, CEO of The Girls’ Network

Together we raised money for The Girls’ Network, a charity helping girls from disadvantaged backgrounds believe in their futures.

Showing some love to our Marble Arch space today. 🤍

Tucked just off Oxford Street and Park Lane, our Marble Arch spot sits right on the edge of the city’s energy, with Hyde Park just moments away.

It’s around a 5 minute walk from Selfridges. Close enough to dip out of the shops, but far enough to feel calmer, quieter, and a little more grounded.

This is a BloomsYard for: – a coffee break after Oxford Street – a lunch pause between meetings – a moment to sit and reset after a walk through the park – or a calm stop before heading on elsewhere

Great coffee, thoughtful food, and space to breathe in one of London’s busiest corners.

If you’re nearby today, pop in and say hello. Marble Arch is quietly doing its thing, and we love it for that. ☕✨

Last week on Weds 3rd Dec, we had the absolute joy of hosting the final stop of the Small Business Saturday UK tour with Small Business Britain and Small Business Saturday, right here at BloomsYard Regent’s Place.

Around 60 brilliant founders, supporters and small-business champions joined the walk through Regent’s Park, walking, talking, connecting and celebrating the incredible small businesses across the UK.

And to finish?
We welcomed everyone into our Regent’s Place space for mulled wine, mince pies and all the good festive vibes.

It was another one of those moments that reminds us why BloomsYard exists - to bring people together. To create spaces where conversations flow, community grows, and good things happen over something delicious.

A huge thank you to the Small Biz team for choosing us as the final stop, and to everyone who joined the walk.

This week we’re celebrating being selected for the SmallBiz100. What a huge honour.

When I started BloomsYard, the dream was simple: create spaces where people feel welcome, can connect, recharge and enjoy something genuinely good. To see that recognised on a national level means more than I can say.

Thank you to Small Business Saturday UK , American Express and for shining a light on the work small businesses do every single day.

And thank you to our customers - the commuters, freelancers, locals, friends and families who choose BloomsYard and make our spaces feel like home.

Small businesses are the heartbeat of our communities.

A little while ago, I spoke at the London Coffee Festival on a panel about something close to my heart: Fundraising in Coffee – Fuelling Expansion.

Sitting in a room of founders, baristas, investors and operators, I shared the (sometimes messy) truth of what it really looks like to raise funds and grow a business in hospitality.

Because let’s be honest - it’s not all shiny pitch decks and seed rounds.

It’s spreadsheets at 1am.
It’s bootstrapping and belief.
It’s knowing your numbers, your margins and your why.
It’s getting comfortable with risk and staying grounded through rejection.

I didn’t grow my business with a flashy plan and outside investment. I grafted and stuck to my clear vision for BloomsYard and had the courage to back myself - even when it meant tough decisions and high stakes.

What I wish more people spoke about in these conversations:
✨ Fundraising is not one-size-fits-all.
✨ Not everyone wants (or needs) to scale at lightning speed.
✨ And you don’t have to lose your soul - or your standards - in the process.

Expanding BloomsYard has never just been about growth. It’s been about building something meaningful, sustainable and mine.

Grateful to have shared that story. Even more grateful for the conversations it’s sparked.

Here’s to fuelling expansion - with purpose, not just capital.

I’ve been named a finalist in the 2025 Great British Entrepreneur Awards! 😱💛

When I started in 2020 - right in the middle of a pandemic - I had no idea where it would lead. No outside investment. No playbook. Just a big vision, a lot of grit, and a belief that hospitality could be done differently.

To be recognised in the Randal Foundation Entrepreneur of the Year category means the world.

But, it’s not just about me - it’s about my team, our amazing customers and the community we’re building one coffee, one glass of wine, one conversation at a time.

Thank you for being part of this journey. And if you needed a sign to back yourself, this is it. 💫
