Last Thursday we hosted our annual Sportsman's Christmas lunch at the HAC, Moorgate. A packed room of 850 guests enjoyed an afternoon of festive cheer. Frank Bruno, Carl Froch, Tony Bellew, Sam Allardyce and Neil Warnock were all absolutely fantastic and had the room in stitches!! 🧑‍🎄

Ricky Hatton was due to speak at the event and we were honoured to raise funds for the Ricky Hatton foundation on the day.

We've got our Football's Coming Home event on Friday, 14th June, and our first guest speaker is none other than the legendary Harry Redknapp.

With a career spanning both playing and managing in football, Redknapp is a revered figure in the sport. As a midfielder, he graced the field for clubs like West Ham United and Bournemouth, showcasing his skills and passion for the game.

His managerial achievements, including leading Portsmouth to FA Cup success in 2008, have solidified his reputation as a tactically astute and inspirational leader. Beyond the pitch, Harry's charismatic and humorous personality has endeared him to fans, making him a captivating presence on television, including his triumphant stint on 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' in 2018.

Just before Christmas, our Soccer Speaker lunch was a resounding success, filled with energy and enthusiasm. A heartfelt thank you goes to Roger Dakin for skilfully serving as the Master of Ceremonies, guiding us through an event that was nothing short of spectacular. We take pride in our partnership with DLA PIPER, a collaboration that adds depth and meaning to our endeavours.
More than just a celebration of soccer, this gathering had a purpose – supporting NSPCC and contributing to a cause close to our hearts. We’d like to thank Hy-Pro for being our gift partner this year. The event was further enriched by the engaging and insightful talks from our esteemed speakers, John Barnes MBE, Mark Crossley, and John Hartson, who shared their experiences, leaving an indelible mark on our celebration. It was an afternoon of sports, camaraderie, and philanthropy that will be remembered fondly by all who attended.

Our Sportsman's Christmas Lunch, as always, was a sell out event with distinguished speakers Stuart Broad MBE, Ray Parlour, Paul Merson and Graeme Souness.

Adding a touch of glamour and grace to our festivities, we had the incredible Elle and The Pocket Belles, alongside enchanting performances by some LED ballerinas.

As we celebrate this joyous season, let us remember the true spirit of Christmas — giving, sharing, and caring for one another.
