Last month, a conversation that started here at The Station House made its way to the House of Commons.

Tom Morrison, MP for Cheadle, visited us to hear first hand how hard it is to run a community pub, and he has since taken the concerns we shared to Parliament during a debate on business rates and hospitality. You can watch his contribution below.

Like many in our industry, we welcome the 20% cut to business rates, but there is still work to do to give pubs like ours a system that works, which is why we're supporting . Our thanks to Tom for raising this, and for working to support hospitality.

Say hello to the Potting Shed! Our covered and heated space at The Station House, ready for Christmas or any other gathering you have coming up.

We've just had doors added to make the space enclosed, meaning it is the perfect semi-private area for bookings, no matter what the season. Seating up to 40 or room for 60 standing, it is going to be the perfect place to enjoy our Festive Fayre menu this December.

The SBID International Design Awards celebrate design excellence across the globe and are judged by an independent panel of industry experts, with a public vote also counting towards the result. The Station House has been shortlisted in Category 16, Restaurant Design UK.
