Meet our newly promoted sous chef, Charlie!

Charlie joined us as a kitchen porter four years ago, and has worked his way up through various roles in the kitchen to his current position. He brings positive energy, leadership & a fantastic work ethic to the team.
His favourite dish to cook is our current Lamb Rump special - a dish also proving popular with our guests. Why not come in & try it yourself? 🍽️👨‍🍳

“Cask Ale Mondays” with Kieran - come & try our new monthly guest ale ‘Hairway to Heaven’.

A moderately bitter 4.3% amber ale with sweet toffee and caramel from Greenwich Crystal malt, lifted by US Amarillo hops added late to the boil, for citrusy orange notes. A stairway to flavour, styled to perfection.

Kieran works hard to keep all our ales in perfect condition & will serve each pint with his customary smile, tailored moustache & good humour. What’s more, every Monday we’ll give you 50p off each pint of cask ale - see you at the bar! 🍻🍻🍻

Live Music at the John Millington - this Friday evening (14th August) we welcome back the brilliant *LIVE BAND* 'HUSTLE' - bringing high energy, great vibes, and a fantastic local following. Get on your dancing shoes!

The music will kick off at 9pm - why not come down earlier to enjoy a refreshing summer spritz in our beer garden?

Completing the line up for August - on Friday 21st Paul Greenwood makes his John Millington debut, and then on Friday 28th another fantastic live band 'Adelphi Fusion' return to end the month in style.
