Autumn is settling over Launceston — crisp evenings, golden light, and just the right excuse to slow down a little.

What a DAY at the with 🐎

Our first 350-person external catering gig and we decided to just casually go all in. BBQs, carving, plating, running 45 metres across a tent like we’re in hospitality Olympics… the whole thing.

To our team — you absolute weapons.
To the organisers — thank you for trusting us.
To the guests — hope you came hungry and thirsty.

We’re currently horizontal, eating toast, and pretending our feet don’t hurt…

First time catering the Launceston Cup and we couldn’t be more excited 🏇✨

We’ll be closed Monday–Wednesday while we’re at the races doing what we love — feeding people well.

Back at TRES for:
Dinner from 5pm Thursday
Lunch from 12pm Friday & Saturday
And the kitchen rolling straight through to dinner Friday + Saturday.

We’re absolutely buzzing to share some incredible news — TRES. has been named a finalist in the Sitchu Tasmania Awards… in not one, but THREE categories! 🥂💫

To say we’re thrilled is an understatement. It’s such an honour to be recognised alongside so many amazing Tasmanian venues and creatives — the ones who make this little island such a special place to eat, drink, and celebrate.

Since day one, our goal has been simple: to bring people together over great food, beautiful wine, and old-fashioned hospitality — all while showcasing the incredible local producers and vineyards that make Tasmania shine. So being part of something that celebrates local talent means the world to us.
