🍻🎶 THE OKTOBERFEST LINEUP IS HERE! 🎶🍻

We’ve been busy putting together a full day of music, beer, food and plenty of Oktoberfest fun — and we’re excited to announce the bands joining us on Saturday, 24 October!

🎺 Kicking things off:
We’ll open the festivities with the fantastic Blue Mountains Brass Band, bringing the perfect soundtrack to the start of the celebrations.

🎸 Then it’s time for local live music:
🔥 Gravity Belt
🔥 3-PM Pick Up

🪗 From 2pm–5pm:
Get into the Oktoberfest spirit with plenty of traditional tunes from Julie Accordion & The Oompahs — expect plenty of toe-tapping, stein-raising fun! 🍻🥨

🎸 And as the afternoon rolls on…
Get ready to rock with Bonniedoon followed by CK & the 45s to take us through to the evening!

That’s a whole day of live music, German-inspired food, local beer, dancing and Oktoberfest celebrations — all at The Carrington Hotel, Katoomba.

Carrington Cellars & Deli is looking for a passionate, food-loving people-person to join our small and friendly team. Part of the iconic Carrington Hotel, our bespoke bottle shop and deli showcases fine wine, premium spirits, craft beer, artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, sweets and beautifully curated gourmet hampers.

✨ This role is ideal for someone with a gourmet food background — or a chef looking for a career change.

To be considered, you’ll:
• Hold a valid NSW RSA
• Have deli experience (chef background or gourmet food sales highly regarded)
• Bring great customer service skills in a retail environment
• Love meeting new people and sharing product knowledge
• Work well in a team and show leadership qualities
• Be professional, proactive and positive
• Be creative and eager to learn about our products
• Be available for a mix of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

🕰 The details:
• Open 7 days | 10:00am – 6:30pm
• Casual role | approx. 25–30 hours per week
• Consistent shifts with flexible arrangements for the right person
