NEW VENUE, NEW DAY

Brian and Krysstal will host Katoomba Comedy Club on Thursday 10th September at 7.30pm at - 24 Whitton Street, North Katoomba.

We are delighted to have Tommy Dean headlining for our first show in the new venue. Tommy is an American comedian with a unique understanding of Australia, its audiences and, above all, what makes us laugh. Indeed, the cultural divide between Americans and Australians provides much of his intelligent observational humour. He has appeared on TV and radio numerous times and is a favourite amongst audiences around the country.

Our opening act will be Amanda Grey. Amanda hosted the Katoomba Comedy Club for nearly 5 years, it’s fitting that she opens the show in the new venue and regales the audience with her recorder (that she got at band camp) taking audience interaction to dangerous new heights. PEAR SHAPED MIDDLE SECTION
The mad middle section – could be great, could all go Pear-Shaped… this section will have two local acts doing trying stuff out with Brian and Krysstal adding their unique compering style into the mix. This month we have:

Dave Griffiths - Well known as Katoomba’s On the Soul Side Café owner, motorbike and guitar enthusiast, guinea pig whisperer and all round raconteur, Dave will bring his unique take on life to the KCC stage.

Lucy Horan - Lucy has done a handful of local gigs, and has been going down a storm with her unique quirky approach to life.

Your KCC MCs are Brian and Krysstal - A unique musical comedy double act with over 22 years’ experience in the UK (including semi-finalists on Britain’s Got Talent), they now live in the Blue Mountains. Brian is infamously grumpy and deadpan, while his assistant Krysstal is glamorous but ditzy. The combination is unique and very funny. Their timing is exquisite, their humour dry and sometimes b***y. For many years they ran the Pear-Shaped Comedy Clubs in London, Edinburgh and Sydney, and bring their oddball style to hosting the monthly nights at the Factory Bar in Katoomba.

Headlining will be Gary Who, one of the pioneers of the infamous Sydney Comedy Store. With a career that has spanned three decades, Garry has worked in all facets of show business - television, radio, film, voice-over - and is one of the most sought-after corporate comedians both nationally and internationally.

Our opening act is Andy High is an Australian-based, UK-born comedian known for his self-deprecating sets about aging. Frequently touring the NSW South Coast, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and various Sydney and regional venues, he was named an 'Australia's Funniest Boomer' finalist.

In the mad middle section – could be great, could all go Pear-Shaped… Amanda Gray returns with her recorder (that she got at band camp) taking audience interaction to dangerous new heights. Headlining will be Peter Green, a veteran Sydney stand-up comedian and prolific comedy writer. Often dubbed the "Gary Larson of stand-up", he is celebrated for his eccentric, off-beat observations and whimsical views of everyday life.

Our opening act is Chris Matthews-Darby, awkward, self-deprecating and painfully relatable.

In the mad middle section – could be great, could all go Pear-Shaped - we have newcomers to the comedy scene, Matt Diddly O and Katie Wright.

Our opening act is RAW Comedy National Winner 2026 (MICF) and Breakout Comedy 2026 (SCF) winner Josh Khoury. He brings a laid-back, quirky, observational approach to his set and has a very relatable onstage presence.
