So wait - We are ending our super popular Barbera to just introduce a Barbera/Dolcetto (https://achesonwinecompany.com/barbera-dolcetto-new/) ?

Here's the deal. Barbera was light in style, flirty and fond of wearing large hats with sundresses. She was perfect for summer afternoons with tomato salads and a nice cabana boy.

But the fall is coming! Cooler weather, long pants, fuzzy sweaters and thoughts of the Homecoming dance. So we added the younger neighborhood greaser Dolcetto, with his slick back hair, punk attitude and pension for white t-shirts.

Yes - This is your Danny Zuko meets Sandy Olsson dream.
It smells of Blackberry, Blueberry and stewed Strawberry, but don't get excited. In the mouth this Cal-Ital rocker is super dry with hints of Raspberry and saddle leather.

Oh Dolcetto, they call you "little sweet one" and maybe you are, under that tough leather jacket. When mixed with Barbera, you certainly can put on quite a show! Too bad you couldn't finish beauty school.

Our newest wine is starting now!

Chardonnay (https://achesonwinecompany.com/acheson-chardonnay-new/) from the cool, coastal vineyards of Sonoma County.

This is not your Grandma's Chardonnay. (https://achesonwinecompany.com/acheson-chardonnay-new/) Flavors of Golden Delicious Apple, Apricot and Ripe Lemon. Bright acid to go well with summer salads to grilled steak (oh yeah - that's a thing!).

With vineyards close to the ocean, Sonoma Chardonnay (https://achesonwinecompany.com/acheson-chardonnay-new/) tends to be a more vibrant, youthful expression vs. it's inland counterparts.
