Join and Yen (aka ) for an evening learning Procreate together THIS THURSDAY at our Taproom!

In this workshop is a basic introduction to Procreate and will walk you through how to draw objects with layers and texture.

The workshop will end with a prompt that combines the two lessons, either for you to finish at the brewery or take home with you to further your learning.

Most artists have taught themselves how to use Procreate, so rather than a comprehensive guide on how to use the app, these workshops are meant to be case studies where we learn from one another’s tips and tricks.

Bring a friend and have a fun night drawing! The first beer is on us!

Saturday beer spotlight: Mango Passion Fruit Sour!

From our sister brewery, , this refreshing beer is made with barley, wheat, and a special yeast that produces a light and tart brew. We then added a metric boatload of mango and passion fruit puree for a flavorful beer that balances sweetness and tartness. 4.9% ABV.

Let's dive into our anniversary beers and why we love them! Our anniversary is a great excuse to explore an off-the-beaten-path style or use some interesting ingredients.

Biere de Garde is a French farmhouse ale from the Lille region in northeastern France near the border with Belgium. The name means "beer for keeping" and it's a higher alcohol beer meant to be stored. Biere de Garde leans more malty and balanced while Saisons are more spicy and hop-forward.

Our 9th Anniversary Biere de Garde is made with 4 types of malt, European hops, and a classic Belgian yeast. The resulting beer is malt-forward with a balanced finish and some esters from the yeast. Notes of honey, graham cracker, citrus, and bubblegum.

The second beer is a riff on an Arnold Palmer. We took the base Biere de Garde and added Wild Thai Black Tea from and lemon peel. We cold steeped the tea and lemon in the beer post-fermentation. The Biere de Garde sweetness is enhanced by the tea and balanced with citrus from the lemon. It's subtle, well-balanced, and super drinkable.

You can try both beers tomorrow during out 9th Anniversary Party! They will be available on tap and cans to-go at both the and taproom locations.
