Beer Update:
1840 Brewing Company "Open, Not Welcome" is on tap, replacing Black Husky Vain.
If you know anything about our bar, it's that you can barely lift a pint without hitting a Mike. So we're giving back a little to one of Milwaukee's best known Mikes.
"Brewed in honor of Milwaukee's Godfather of beer, Mike Romans'. Mike is well known for many things. Curating an amazing beer menu, being an early adopter of beer with flavor, and for kicking people out of his establishment. If he bounces you he may say something like "The sign says open, not welcome." We crafted this IPA to have as much flavor as Mike has personality. Hop bursted and double dry-hopped with Mosaic, Lotus, and Amarillo hops this juicy IPA is big and brash, yet soft and sweet, just like the Man himself. "
$1 from every pint goes toward the medical bills of Mike Romans, who is battling cancer.
