B**r, Magic & a Little Milwaukee History 🪄🍺

Our B**r Guyz tour took us to another unique Milwaukee brewery.

📍🍺 Wizard Works Brewing — Milwaukee, Wisconsin

And this place has one hell of a story.

Chris Ivanovich had been homebrewing since the early 1980s and had also been a professional magician for decades. Eventually, he and his wife, Jenny Higgins, turned that longtime passion into Wizard Works Brewing.

Then came 2020.

They were scheduled to open in April, taking possession of the space just two weeks before COVID shut everything down. Their big brewery launch suddenly became anything but normal.

But they didn’t give up.

They adapted with cans, growler fills and to-go b**r and found a way to keep the dream alive.

Today, Wizard Works is a cozy Milwaukee taproom where traditional b**r styles meet a little magic, mystery and plenty of personality.

And yes… Chris still performs magic there every Thursday night. 🪄

That’s what we love about visiting breweries. It’s never just about the b**r. It’s the people, the stories and the places behind the pint.
