A rare release from our Distiller’s Reserve series, this Straight Rye Whiskey was aged 10 years and finished at our Amherst, WI distillery. Bold and full bodied, the nose opens with caramel, toffee, and vanilla, while the palate delivers spice, to***co, and oak through a warm, perfectly balanced finish.

Available at both Amherst and Milwaukee taprooms starting Saturday May 2nd at our regular opening times.

Central Waters Brewing Milwaukee is seeking an energetic and passionate craft beer and spirits aficionado as one of our Tap Room Bartenders. This position will be responsible for serving beer, spirits, and other beverages, and other retail sales activities at our tap room in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Bartenders are responsible for ensuring a successful tasting room visitor experience and maintaining our tap room as a key craft beer and spirits consumer destination in Southeastern Wisconsin.

The Far Out Messenger has returned after exploring the outer reaches of space, time, and human consciousness.

Can the expansion of the universe be measured by neutron - star mergers? Is there a quantum complexity that could solve the wormhole paradox? I have no idea but this beer has me reeling for answers. In the luxury of contemplation & enjoying this lush & delicate double IPA, may we find them.
Far Out Messenger is a concoction built out of the journey & not the arrival. Layered with a soft & flavorful amount of wheats & oats, we explored the contrasting hop profile combination of riwaka & azaaca, powerfully fueled aromatics of psychedelic passionfruit are rounded out with sweet grapefruit character, a fluffy mouthfeel, & notes of creamy mango juice.

Available on tap and in 4-packs of tallboy cans exclusively in Milwaukee this weekend. Amherst will get it in the next week or two.

This winter’s been frigid, and the perfect
opportunity to make an iced version of our award
winning barleywine style ale. This year we selected
barrels that have been aging our barleywine for 4
years, which stood out as the perfect candidate for the
iced version. Intense notes of bourbon, oak,
raisin/prune/date, brown sugar. Slight notes of vanilla,
toffee, cherry.
