Happy Flag Day!

On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the first official American flag, declaring that the flag of the new nation would feature 13 stripes and 13 stars representing the original colonies.

More than a century later, Flag Day began as a way to honor this symbol of freedom and unity. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson officially proclaimed June 14 as Flag Day, and in 1949, President Harry S. Truman signed legislation establishing it as a national observance.

Today, we celebrate the Stars and Stripes and the generations of Americans who have rallied beneath it. Here's to freedom, unity, and the enduring spirit of our nation. 🍷
