“The 2025 Cantina Santadi Villa Solais Vermentino di Sardegna is a vibrant expression of Sardinia’s coastal terroir, pouring a brilliant straw yellow hue accented by delicate green and golden highlights. Grown in the sandy and clay soils of the Lower Sulcis region, this 100% Vermentino is fermented entirely in stainless steel and undergoes a few months of lees contact to build structural complexity while preserving its youthful energy. The nose delivers an enticing, fresh bouquet driven by ripe citrus, stone fruits, and subtle white floral notes intertwined with a characteristic wet stone minerality. On the palate, the wine unleashes a dry, nervy acidity balanced by a satisfying texture, leading into a refreshing, sapid finish complete with a distinct touch of Mediterranean salinity.”
