Next Sunday is our sponsored walk for Birmingham children's hospital. Please let us know if you are taking part. Bus outside the Alma. 11.30am to Droitwich. Please join us and get those sponsors in.

We are doing well on our fundraising raising but this charity will be the last for a while. We have raised huge sums of money over the years but I think we have all done enough now. Lets see what we can achieve this year for Birmingham children's hospital. Once again I need to thank everyone for the continued support.

We have decided to change the theme of our calendar. We are now going to do the Northwick dogs. We have so many doggy friends here so we thought it would be a nice idea to involve them in our fundraising efforts. So, if you would like your pet to be included send us your photos and we will do the rest.

Tonight was the last night of bingo for a while. We will start again in September. I won tonight which was nice. Thank you to all those that have joined in. I hope next time we will see a few new faces. All proceeds go to Birmingham children's hospital.

I hope you have all got those brains in gear. Tonight is quiz night. £2 per person with all proceeds going to Birmingham Children’s Hospital. 7.30pm be early to secure a seat.

Here at the Northwick Arms we may not have the fancy fittings and numerous sports TV channels. No fancy wine or cocktails. But, what we do have is a traditional old fashioned pub with a huge heart. The community has always been our focus. There is always a listening ear and the offer of help for anyone that may need it. Over the years we have raised thousands for various charities. This year we are supporting Birmingham Children’s Hospital. We are on target to hit the £5000 by the end of the year. This is down to our fantastic community. £8000 raised last year for prostate cancer and huge amounts in previous years for other good causes. We helped each other through covid and we survived. We have only closed our doors twice since we took over here. On both occasions it was for private functions ( A wedding and an engagement party). We have been here every day 365 days a year. Sadly we cant do much about the exterior of the building. Its been here a long time and is looking a little tierd but, inside you will find a warm, clean and welcoming space with lots of laughter and banter. We have seen babies grow into young adults and other customers sadly pass away. Matches, hatches and dispatches! We have attended weddings and funerals and watched the local community change and grow. We welcome everyone. Families both old and young and We are also dog friendly ( on a leash please). We have a few years left here and we are truly thankful for all the support from our wonderful customers. Come and join us. Make new friends. Join in the quiz nights bingo and all the other charity events we have. Like I said we are not a fancy establishment. We are a good old fashioned community pub. You are the reason we are here.
