We absolutely intend to reopen The Worlingworth Swan in the future, but since the fire we have sadly seen so many more pubs close their doors for good.

Pubs are more than just businesses — they are meeting places, employers, community hubs and part of the heart of village life. Without meaningful change, the future for many pubs, restaurants and hospitality businesses across England looks incredibly difficult.

We would really appreciate it if people could take a moment to sign and share the petition. Every signature helps highlight how serious the situation has become.



Hospitality businesses are struggling under rising costs, increasing regulation and reduced margins, and closures are happening every week. We do not want local pubs and village communities to disappear.

Update on The Swan

Hi all, just a quick update as we’ve had a few people asking about The Swan.

We are still working through matters with the insurance companies following the fire, which is unfortunately taking longer than we would like. It’s been a complex process, but things are moving in the right direction.

Please be assured that The Swan will reopen — we’re committed to bringing it back and getting the doors open again as soon as we possibly can.

We really appreciate everyone’s patience and support, it genuinely means a lot to us. We’ll share a more positive and detailed update as soon as we’re able.
