The Station Hotel has been part of Framlingham’s story for generations.

Dating back to the Victorian era, the pub was closely connected to Framlingham’s railway and the station that once brought passengers, goods and visitors into the town.

As well as serving travellers arriving by train, the pub became an important meeting place for the local community, a place to eat, drink, celebrate and share stories.

Although the railway is now part of Framlingham’s past, the Station Hotel remains, continuing its role as a much-loved local gathering place and an important part of the town’s heritage.

The Station is looking for a reliable and passionate 2nd Chef to join our busy kitchen team.

You'll be supporting our Head Chef on menu prep, service and standards, and keeping things running to a high standard of cleanliness and EHO / Food Hygiene compliance. Straight shifts available, with flexible hours and flexible weekends off.

In return: a competitive rate of pay, tips shared across the whole kitchen team, paid annual holiday, and a genuinely supportive team with real room to grow.

Previous chef experience is essential, along with an understanding of EHO standards and a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or a willingness to obtain one).
