A lot of you will know Adam from The Station, and for those of you who do, you’ll know what a truly kind, caring and wonderful man he is.
After 14 years of hard work, dedication and love for The Station, Adam will be leaving us, and we simply cannot put into words how much we will miss him.
For 14 years, Adam has given so much of himself to this pub. From looking after our customers and pouring thousands of pints to making people feel welcome, sharing a laugh and being a familiar, friendly face behind the bar, he has been such a huge part of what makes The Station so special.
From everyone who has had the pleasure of working alongside him over the years, to the thousands of customers he has served and looked after, we want to say one enormous THANK YOU. Thank you for your loyalty, your kindness, your hard work and everything you have given to this pub over the last 14 years. The Station simply wouldn’t be the same without you.
We would love for as many of you as possible to join us on Monday 9th November from 5pm, where we’ll be putting on some nibbles to give Adam the send-off he deserves. It would mean the world to us to see you there, sharing a drink, a story or a memory, and helping us give Adam a proper Station goodbye.
Of course, whilst we are incredibly sad to be saying goodbye to Adam, we are also very fortunate to have the lovely, wonderful Hazel stepping into the role of Bar Manager. Many of you will already know Hazel, and we couldn’t be happier to have her leading the team. We know she will continue Adam’s amazing work and bring her own special touch to The Station.
Adam, thank you for 14 years of memories, laughter, dedication and friendship. You have made a lasting mark on this pub and on so many of the people who walk through its doors. You will always be part of The Station family, and we wish you nothing but happiness in whatever comes next.
