We are a traditional quayside pub boasting old world charm, a roaring fire, dark wood and flagstone floors. A warm welcome awaits you.

We produce all our food freshly on the premises, sourcing as much of our ingredients as locally as possible. We are happy to cater for everything from large groups to individuals, with bespoke menus available on request. We serve a selection of Greene King cask ales, have been awarded the Cask Marque for their quality and are members of The Greene King Head Brewers Club, a collection of superior Greene King cask ale pubs chosen by their Head Brewer John Bexon.

Starting from 8:30pm till late he will be playing a halloween inspired set + original songs.

Come and join us for a night of spooky live music, halloween cocktails or a pint of haunted highlander 🎃

✨️DOG OF THE MONTH FOR OCTOBER✨️

This month it's our first doggie duo, mum Aggie and her son Marmite 🐕

They both like - balls, swimming in the sea, Monday lunches at the pub (The Anchor is their favourite ofc), skinners dog biscuits, our staff mainly Freddie and Freya

No dislikes......
